Let’stalkaboutdeath
A space for exploring different perspectives on death
and dying through education and conversation.

Deathtination brings death into everyday conversation, so people can move through fear, toward each other, and into a life of purpose.
About Deathtination
We believe that when death has a regular place in ordinary life, it stops being something that causes anxiety and fear. Instead, it becomes something that can enhance our quality of life, our relationships, and our communities.
Most of us only talk about death when we have no choice: in a hospital room, at a funeral, or in the days right before or after a loss. By then, we’re already in crisis, and there’s little room left for reflection, collaboration, or connection. Deathtination exists to change when and how this conversation happens.
What We Offer
Art, ritual, and tradition from around the world that show us death has always been part of human culture, never something to face alone or only at the end.
Guided reflection, meditation, and mortality awareness practices that build a steadier, more honest relationship with impermanence, and in turn, with the present moment.
Regular, facilitated gatherings where people can speak openly about death, dying, and grief as part of everyday life, not just in moments of emergency.
Practical, accessible learning about death, dying, and end of life care, the kind of literacy that helps people plan with clarity and support each other with confidence.

Why This Work Matters
Fear of death, left unspoken, tends to become fear of living fully. When death only enters the conversation in a crisis, people face it without the language, support, or community they need. By giving death a regular space in everyday life, we reduce the stigma and fear that keep these conversations from happening at all. We help people reconnect with a clearer sense of life purpose and what matters most.
How We Show Up
We’re not here to force anyone into a conversation they’re not ready for, and we’re not here to make death feel smaller than it is. We hold space for it with curiosity instead of dread, honesty instead of platitudes, and community instead of isolation. Whoever you are and whatever brought you here, grief, curiosity, caregiving, or simply a wish to live with more intention, you’re welcome at Deathtination.
